Common Uniform Measurements for Men and Women

Below are instructions on how to get the perfect measurement for each body part or area. Please use a flexible tape measure to ensure an accurate measurement.

Neck

Measure around your neck just below your larynx.

Chest

Wrap the measuring tape under your arms and around the fullest part of your chest.

Waist

Measure above your hips along your natural waist. Usually around your bellybutton.

Sleeve

Start the measurement at the center of your neck's back and then across the shoulder down to the cuff or just below your wrist.

Inseam

Start at the crotch seam and then run down the leg to the top of your shoes. You can always measure a similar pant that fits you well.
