Height x Width = Area
4" x 4" = 16 inches squared
8" x 2" = 16 inches squared
To resize your logo, we just need its current dimensions (height and width) and one of your desired new measurements (either new height or new width). We will calculate the rest to keep your logo perfectly in proportion!
Want to figure it out for yourself? Here's how you do it ...
Use these codes: CH = Current Height, CW = Current Width, NH = New Height, NW = New Width
If you know how wide you want your logo, use this formula to find the new height.
Formula: CH x NW ÷ CW = NH
Example: Current Size CH 2" x CW 8"New Width Desired: 4"
Here's the Math: 2 x 4 ÷ 8 = 1
New Size: 4" x 1" = 4 inches squared
If you know how high you want your logo, use this formula to find the new width.
Formula: CW x NH ÷ CH = NW
Example: Current Size CH 4" x CW 2.5"
New Width Desired: 8"
Here's the Math: 2.5 x 8 ÷ 4 = 5
New Size: 8" x 5" = 40 inches squared
No! There is no additional cost to size your logo once it's been vectorized for transfers. If you are using the same artwork or if we simply need to remove some text from your design, we can use the same art.
This comes up often when ordering t-shirts and sweatshirts where the logo is printed on the back with a phone number or website and then the same logo is used on the left chest with no text. We can even size it to fit on a hat!
