Ordering fewer than 12 items? You can still order as little as a single piece! New customers simply pay a one-time $75 setup fee to digitize the logo.

Once your logo is formatted, we keep it secure on file forever! All future repeat embroidery orders have an absolute 0-piece minimum requirement.

Why is embroidery backing showing through my shirt fabric?

We want your embroidery to look its best! To keep your design sharp and prevent thread distortion, we use a stabilizer backing behind every stitch. On thin or light-colored shirts, this backing can sometimes be slightly visible. If you are concerned about show-through, we recommend selecting darker garment colors or pairing lighter shirts with an undershirt.

How do you wash embroidered uniforms and company gear?

To keep your custom embroidery looking brand new: 1) The Wash: Turn garments inside out, use cold water, and choose a mild detergent (avoid bleach). 2) The Dry: Hang dry for best results, or tumble dry on low heat to prevent fabric puckering around the logo. 3) The Finish: Never iron directly over embroidered stitches; iron on the reverse side if needed.

Can I bring in my own items or clothing to be embroidered?

No, we do not embroider customer-provided items. We only customize apparel and gear purchased directly through Stitch Logo. This policy ensures high quality control and guarantees the garment fabric matches our embroidery machine calibrations. Once your logo is set up with us, we keep it on file forever, allowing you to reorder single items or outfit new hires anytime with no minimum order requirements!

How much does it cost to set up a new custom embroidery logo?

First-time logo digitization is a one-time fee of $75.00 for chest or sleeve logos (additional design edits or hat setups are $50.00 each). This fee includes digital thread color matching for both light and dark garments, as well as a physical sew-out proof for your approval before production. We also offer Free Logo Setup on qualifying new customer orders of 12+ items!

What file format do I need to submit for custom logo embroidery?

You can upload vector files (.AI, .EPS, .PDF) or high-resolution image files (.PNG, .JPEG). Our digitizing team will convert your visual artwork into a machine-ready stitch file (.DST) and provide a sew-out proof for review before your order is processed.

What is the turn-around time for embroidered uniform orders?

Most custom embroidered uniform orders ship within 10-15 business days after your logo proof has been reviewed and approved. If you have an upcoming event or firm deadline, let our team know during checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.

What is the difference between custom embroidery and DTF heat transfers?

Custom Embroidery uses stitched thread directly on the garment, offering a textured, premium, and durable finish ideal for polos, jackets, button-downs, and scrubs. Direct-to-Film (DTF) Heat Transfers print high-resolution ink onto a special film pressed onto fabric, making it ideal for fine gradients, thin lines, or lightweight t-shirts.
